Situated on the banks of the Blackwood River, Nannup has been perfectly preserved as a character-filled timber town from the early 1900s.  Bullnose verandas, weatherboard shop fronts and colourful flower boxes all enhance the delightful appeal of the town and keep it in character.

Barrabup pool is a natural water hole set deep in the forest and one of Nannup’s best kept secrets. The site of a busy mill town in the early part of the 1900’s this pool has BBQ and picnic facilities and camping facilities nearby at Worker’s Pool.

Canoeing on the Blackwood River

Spend half a day or more paddling through the magnificent jarrah forests towards the sea along the Blackwood River. You can hire canoes or bring your own.

Tank 7

A magnificent look out and picnic spot a short drive from town. Tank 7 is one of a number of concrete tanks which dot the hills around Nannup and were once used to supply water to crews fighting fires in the area.
